Trigonix — angle and trig calculator by Plastilina Labs

Plastilina Labs developed Trigonix to solve the geometry of the workshop and the classroom: triangles, tapers, polygon diameters, arcs and bolt circles, from whichever values you have.

The Trigonix triangle, white with its acute angle in yellow, beside the name and what it solves: triangles, tapers, polygons, arcs and bolt circles

What the app does

Any values you have, the rest as you type

Two sides of a right triangle, three values of any triangle, two of the seven measures of an arc: enter what you know and the figure is solved on every keystroke, with no Calculate button.

Both answers when two fit

Two sides and an angle can make two different triangles, and a chord with a radius two different arcs. Trigonix shows both, side by side, instead of picking one without telling you.

Made for the workshop

Tapers for turning, bolt circles for flanges, the round bar a hexagon is milled from: the figures of the bench, with big fields and a diagram drawn to the proportions of yours.

A comma or a point

Type the decimal separator of your keyboard, whatever the language of your phone. Results come with 2, 3 or 4 decimals, and angles in decimal degrees or in degrees, minutes and seconds.

On the phone

  • Trigonix solving a general triangle from two sides and an angle, with the choice between the two triangles that fit
  • Trigonix showing the major arc that fits a radius of 10 and a chord of 12, with its central angle
  • Trigonix working out the chord between six holes on a pitch circle of 100

Your data

Trigonix has no account and no ads. Your values and settings stay on your phone; the app only sends anonymous usage statistics, which screens are opened, to analytics software we host ourselves.
