Trigonix Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Trigonix is a geometry calculator for triangles, tapers, polygon diameters, arcs and bolt circles. It shows no ads and has no accounts. What you type stays on your phone; the only thing the app sends is anonymous usage statistics, to analytics software we host ourselves.
Who is responsible
Plastilina Labs, an independent developer based in Spain. You can write to [email protected] about anything in this policy.
What the app handles
| Data | Why | Where it stays |
|---|---|---|
| The values you type in each calculator | Work out the figure, and keep it when you switch to another app and back | On your device only |
| Your settings (theme, appearance, decimals, angle format, text size, keeping the screen on, language) and the calculators you used last | Open the app the way you left it | On your device only |
| Usage statistics: the screens you open (which calculator, the menu, the options), the options you change, and when you switch to the second of two figures | Know which calculators are used and where the app can improve | Sent to our own analytics server (Matomo, in Germany) |
The values you type are never sent anywhere. We do not sell or share any data, and no advertising network or third-party analytics service receives anything from the app.
Usage statistics
The app counts how it is used with Matomo, analytics software we run on our own server in the European Union. With each screen or option it sends a random identifier that the app creates the first time it opens and keeps in its own storage, the app version, your device model and Android version, the screen size and the language. That identifier is not tied to an account, a name, your Google account or the advertising ID.
Like any server, ours sees the IP address the statistics come from. Matomo uses it as it arrives to estimate the country and city, and stores only a shortened version, with the last two of its four numbers removed, which no longer points to one connection. We use the statistics only in aggregate, to see which parts of the app are used, never to identify or contact anyone. Statistics are sent over an encrypted connection; when the phone is offline they wait in the app for up to a day and are then discarded.
Android backup
If you have turned on Android's own device backup, Android may include the app's settings in that backup, which Google keeps under your account and under Google's privacy policy. We have no access to it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
Google Play
Google Play handles the download and updates of the app, and may collect information about them under Google's own privacy policy. We only see the aggregated, anonymous statistics that Google Play gives every developer, such as the number of installs per country.
Security, data retention and deleting your data
Everything the app keeps stays in its private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. It is kept until you remove it: uninstall the app, or clear its data in Settings, Apps, Trigonix, Storage, and it is gone, the random identifier included.
The usage statistics on our server are kept to compare how the app is used over time. Since nothing in them says who you are, we cannot find the records of one person to export or delete them; clearing the app's data gives it a new identifier, so nothing you do afterwards is linked to what came before. For any question, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, write to [email protected]; you may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (aepd.es).
Children
Trigonix is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone, and the usage statistics above are the same for every user.
Changes to this policy
If how the app works changes, we will update this page and the date above before the new version reaches Google Play, and note significant changes in its release notes.
